What is the significance of the workspace organization? Is it directly related to my workspace name?
Workspace Name:
- The name of your workspace is used to derive the url for your workspace. The workspace url is the direct link to your work area on Engagifii's platform. You can also think of it as your login url. The workspace url cannot be modified once created. The standard format of a workspace url is as follows,
- Example workspace url: XYZ.ENGAGIFII.COM
- The workspace name is also the name that a user would see if they’re a member of multiple workspaces on our platform. Upon logging in, the user would see your workspace name, as well as the names of any other workspaces to which they’re a member, in a list. This listing of workspaces allows the user to choose which workspace they’d like to enter.
- If you’d like to change or modify the name of your workspace, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Workspace Organization:
- It’s a special organization within the full list of organizations that allows you to add staff members of your organization to the workspace, and denote them as staff, as opposed to general member users. Staff users generally have a special set of permissions that allow them to execute various tasks and manage permissions that member users cannot.
- The default naming convention for this organization is set to match the name of your workspace. This is what users will see if visibility of the Organizations tab and/or user organization details is granted. You can change the name of the workspace organization at any time by following the instructions below,
