The Email Analytics feature allows users to track the status and engagement of emails sent via Engagifii. This guide explains what data is tracked, how it's defined, and the limitations you should be aware of.
Q: Which recipients are included in analytics tracking?
A: Only recipients listed in the To field are tracked. Recipients in CC or BCC are not tracked.
Q: Can I view analytics for emails sent in the past?
A: Analytics are available only for emails sent after September 5, 2025, which is when this feature was launched.
Q: What statuses will I see in Email Analytics?
A: You’ll see three main status groups — Processing, Delivered, and Failed — each with specific activity details.
Q: What do the different statuses mean?
Processing
-
Processed: The email has been accepted by our email service and queued for delivery.
-
Deferred: The recipient’s mail server temporarily delayed delivery. We will retry for up to 72 hours.
Delivered
-
Delivered: The recipient’s mail server accepted the email (though placement in the inbox isn’t guaranteed).
-
Opened: The recipient opened the email.
Failed
-
Dropped: The email wasn’t sent, often due to suppression lists or spam filtering.
-
Bounce: The email was permanently rejected by the recipient’s mail server (invalid address, mailbox issue, etc.).
-
Spam Report: The recipient marked the email as spam.
-
Unsubscribe: The recipient opted out to receive emails.
Q: Can I search or filter the records?
A: Yes. You can:
-
Search by recipient email address.
-
Filter by status (e.g., only undelivered).
-
Sort results by name, email address, status, or date (ascending or descending).
Q: Who can access Email Analytics?
A: Users with the permission Communications → Manage My Inbox can view Email Analytics.
This permission allows access to a user’s Draft, Sent, and Scheduled folders, along with analytics for their sent emails.
