09/08/2021 - Updates and Enhancements

09/08/2021 - Updates and Enhancements Legislation, Revenue, Accreditation and Events Laura Vautour

Lots going on over the long weekend at Engagifii. We continue to hear your feedback and are working hard to bring enhancements and improvements to you to make your Engagifii experience even better.

Here's what's new:

Legislation

New Features

1. We've made some deep architectural changes that are going to massively improve the way we pull new bills into the system. I won't go into details, lest you start daydreaming about your next Netflix binge, but suffice to say that the overall speed of the platform will improve dramatically. Especially mid-day when so many bills are being updated simultaneously.

This is laying the groundwork for more timely updates and better performance for legislation tracking. Stay tuned, there's more to come.

Revenue

New Features

1. So many invoices, so little time. Is there a way that we can send one invoice to an organization for multiple things?

By adding the new permissions to their profiles (*see below), properly permissioned users will be able to consolidate invoices when they want to:

  • Consolidate unpaid and held invoices of a single organization

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for a single person

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for a single organization

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for multiple people in the same organization

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for a single person and the Organization that the person belongs to

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for multiple people from the same parent organization

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for organizations that have the same parent organization

  • Consolidate multiple invoices for the person, primary organization of the person and parent organization of the primary organization for that person.

  • Consolidate multiple invoices of an organization and their parent organization

Invoice consolidation can be done from any of the following lists:

  • All Transactions List

  • People Transaction List

  • Organization Transaction List

  • Class Transaction List

  • Event Transaction List

  • Event Session Transaction List

  • Endorsement Transaction List

  • My Transaction List

  • My Favorite Transaction List

The new Consolidate option is found in the Wrench menu and will be grayed out if it is not available for the invoices you have selected:

*The following NEW permission must be added for roles that need to consolidate invoices.

2. We would like the ability to NOT send an invoice until we are ready and NOT have those numbers included in our accounting numbers as displayed in Engagifii.

(There's no being pithy with this one, so straightforward it is...)

This new feature will give a properly permissioned user an option to send or hold a manually created invoice or consolidated invoice by selecting Create & Hold (instead of Create & Send) when creating an invoice.

Click here for detailed instructions to consolidate multiple invoices.

Numbers from Held invoices will not be included in accounting metrics until the invoices are sent to the billed party.

For all invoices in Held status, the properly permissioned user will have the option to send the invoice from both the Invoice detail and Invoice list pages.

3. We've added email notification to individuals and organization billing contacts for consolidated invoices, held invoices and voided invoices.

4. For invoices with multiple transactions, you will now see the total number of transactions on the invoice right in the display list.

Click the plus sign to the left of the number to expand the list and display all of the items on that invoice.

Updates

Many visual updates this week for your viewing pleasure, including:

  • Sorting of transactions by transaction ID

  • Sorting of transactions by transaction type

  • Icon, color and spacing refinement across revenue screens

  • Payment method filters are filtering
